Camden Velvet Cushion (45cm x 45cm)

This limited edition cushion has been created using an image from the recent series of artworks that I created during the lockdown of January, 2021. The inspiration for the series of works was a group of amazing women that I came across from Gees Bend, Alabama, an isolated rural community where the women, who were completely cut off from art museums created the most amazing quilts to rival abstract art of their era. Their wonderful quilts and story of isolation and community really touched a nerve in me during my own period of loneliness. I used the ideas of the geometric shapes together with my love and sense of colour to produce a rich source of imagery for these products. I have created joyful, kaleidoscopic, visually pleasing cushions which add a splash of colour and joy to your home.

These limited edition cushions are printed on a luxurious cotton velvet with a dark grey velvet back they are 45cm x 45 cm and come with duck feather inners.
